This article will walk you through the steps for updating the firmware on an Aquana Smart Valve. Periodic firmware updates will be released to introduce new features and performance enhancements as well as to address necessary fixes.
The Aquana Smart Valve firmware can be easily updated using the Aquana mobile app. Youmust be in Bluetooth range of the valve in order to execute the firmware update process.
- Log in to the Aquana Mobile App.
- Tap on the Menu icon at the top left of the screen.
- Tap “Update Valve Firmware”.
- Select your Property and the valve you want to update, and tap “Next”.
- The Mobile App will check to determine the current firmware version on the valve. If the valve is equipped with the latest firmware, the message “Firmware Up To Date” will be displayed.
- If the valve is not equipped with the latest firmware the screen displays the current firmware version on the valve, along with the newest available firmware. Tap “Update” to update the valve firmware to the latest version. NOTE - During the update process, you must keep your mobile phone within bluetooth range of the valve.
- During the update process the Mobile app will display the update progress. ** IMPORTANT - Do not close the Mobile app, or move out of Bluetooth range before the update is complete.
- When the update process is complete you will see a “Firmware successfully updated” message. Tap “Ok”.
- From here you can return to the main menu or proceed to update the firmware on another valve.
