Learn how to update the Check-In Interval for your Smart Valve using the Aquana mobile application.
The Check-In Interval for your Smart Valve can be changed using the Aquana Mobile app. If you are within bluetooth range of the device (100ft) you can connect directly to the device and update the value in real time. If you are not within bluetooth range, you can create a Cloud command that the Smart Valve will process at it's next Check-In.
Here are instructions for updating your Smart Valve check-in interval directly over Bluetooth using Aquana Mobile:
- Login to Aquana Mobile
- Tap in the "Select your Valve" field to select the Smart Valve you would like to update.
- Select your connection method, in this case tap Bluetooth, then tap Next.
- On the bottom of the screen you will see the status of the bluetooth connection. The app will scan the area for the device, and connect to it once found.
- You should see the screen below (some device details may be different). Tap the Configure tab at the top right.
- Tap the black Gear icon next to the valve.
- Tap in the "Cloud Check-In Frequency" box and enter the desired check-in interval in minutes.
- Tap "UPDATE CONFIGURATION". This will apply the new value, and the unit will attempt to check-in.
- A message will be displayed indicating a successful configuration update.
