Finding a Device in Aquana Web

This article will guide you through two different methods for locating a device in a Platform Account

Log in to the Aquana Web App using the email and password that were created for your account.

If you have only one Platform Account, you will go directly to that Platform Account Dashboard upon logging in.   If you have access to more than one Platform Account, use the Platform Account Selector button to navigate between Accounts.  This is the button directly to the right of the Aquana logo in the top blue navigation bar.  Clicking the button will bring up a list of all of your Platform Accounts.  Clicking on the desired Platform Account Name will bring you to the main Platform Account Dashboard. 

There are two ways to navigate to devices in your Platform Account once you are at the main Platform Account Dashboard.

METHOD 1 - SEARCH FIELD - BLUE NAVIGATION BAR

  1. The Search field in the top blue navigation bar allows you to search by the name, location, or serial number of the device directly.  A broad search is conducted using the characters you enter and all possible results are displayed.  The Search Results window displays all Locations and Devices that match the search criteria.
     
  2. Clicking on the desired Location in the Search Results box will bring you to the Location dashboard which shows all devices in that location.  From here you can drill down to the Device Details screen by clicking on the desired device.  
  3. Clicking on the desired device in the Search Results box will bring you to the Device Details screen directly.  Once at the Device Details screen you can operate a valve, see historic record of valve alerts, commands, and check-ins, get meter specifications and readings as well as historical water consumption data.

METHOD 2 - LOCATION SELECTOR - SILVER NAVIGATION BAR

  1. From the main Platform Account dashboard, click the Location Selector button located at the left side of the silver navigation bar at the top of the screen.  This will bring up a list of all locations within the current Platform Account.  
  2. You can scroll through the list and select the desired location, or enter search criteria into the search field at the top of the list.  Once you have found the desired location, click on it to go to the Location Dashboard to see all devices installed at this location.  Clicking on the desired device will bring you to the Device Details screen directly.  Once at the Device Details screen you can operate a valve, see historic record of valve alerts, commands, and check-ins, get meter specifications and readings as well as historical water consumption data.
