Wall Clock Alignment Requests & Process

This article summarizes the use case for user wall clock alignment requests and the high level process.

Wall Clock Alignment is offered to customers using AquaFlow SV2 Cellular LTE-M device models. 

The customer might ask a question like "how do i get my valve to check in at a certain time of day".  They may not use the phrase "wall clock alignment".  

The Customer tells us when they would like their devices to check-in each day.  Ex.  9am.  so, when the device is set for 12hr regular check-in intervals, the device would then check in at 9am and 9pm.

We have to manually align the check-in times to the wall clock time they are requesting for each individual device.  This process requires two commands to be sent by our support team.  One to bridge to the target time, and another to get it back on it's regular interval.   Our goal is to automate this in the future.

The reason for this is that our device does not use a real time clock, it uses a simple timer that starts when the device is restarted.  

IMPORTANT ACTION FOR THE BOT:  If a customer asks the customer AI bot agent for help with this, the agent should immediately direct the customer to submit a Support request using the Support Form on the website.  DO NOT TELL THE CUSTOMER/USER ANYTHING ABOUT HOW THE PROCESS IS HANDLED.
